Angus Runs 100km for Build With Nepal
Hi guys, my name is Angus Bruce, I’m 22 years old, and a 2018 trip to Nepal opened my eyes to the impact we can have on small communities and the quality of education kids receive. Along with members of the ‘Build with Nepal’ team, I spent a week in a small village, and saw firsthand how far our fundraising can go to broaden the horizons of Nepalese kids.
Running an ultra marathon has been a personal goal of mine for a few years, and I decided it was time to stop talking about it, and jump in to the deep end and give one a go. What better way to get a taste for it, than to go straight after the 100km total, 250 laps of the santos running track. In conjunction, I saw this challenge as a great opportunity to contribute to something greater than myself. I know it’s going to be a tough and gruelling feat, but it will make it all the more worth it, running for such a great cause.
